Dear Friends of Tabora,
The weather is starting to cool off and before you know it, fall will be in the air! We, at Tabora Farms, wanted to take a moment and remind you about some amazing events that coming up on the farm.
This Sunday!! That’s right, this Sunday, is our first Sunday Brunch of 2016! Plan ahead and avoid a wait, reserve a time slot for your party today! Traditionally we offer groups that are smaller than six a “meet your Neighbour” type of sitting to create that group atmosphere here on the farm.
We will be serving an awesome variety of both breakfast and lunch items this Sunday and something is sure to tickle the tastebuds. We are proud to offer hearty meats like bacon and sausage, a standalone crepe station, and some of our farm’s best fresh fruit and vegetables! In addition, there will be a pit ham carving station, along with assorted pastries, and homemade soup and salads. Please come for a bite, and stay for a good time, we promise you will not leave hungry!
As you remember pricing for all of us 12 and over is $20.00, while those under 12 pay only $10.00. As always, kids under 3, there is no charge. The only thing limited is space, so be sure and call as soon as possible, and enjoy your Sunday brunch under a crisp cloudless sky while taking in all the sounds and smells of the farm! We look forward to seeing each and every one of you there!
Apple picking – We just started the end of summer/beginning of harvest apple picking a few weeks ago and coming up August 31st we move on to the Macintosh apple family! We offer family style picking where you only pay for what you pick, at $1.29/lb. is hand’s down better than grocer pricing!
Make a day out of it, bring the kids, pick as much as you can carry and make your way over to relax in the tent and enjoy the afternoons. Wander through the animals and see the goats and over small livestock as you grab a table to get a bite of lunch or dinner, or just enjoy the twilight view the farm has to offer.
Back by popular demand are our Farm to Table Dinners! We had such a good turnout, and we all had so much fun that we’ve scheduled two dates already where we will be hosting a farm to table dinner. Please see Dave while you are here, and he will be more than happy to share a menu and the dates!
As the weather starts getting cooler in the evening, and fall is approaching, you know what else is too? FRIGHT NIGHT!!!! Yes this year we are going to go overboard and expand the attraction. So if you enjoyed it before, please keep an ear out for this year’s endeavour. More to come as September starts, please stay tuned, and feel free to ask, it’s going to be a ghoulish good time!
One last thing, as fall wanes into the holiday season, please keep us in your thoughts and lists, as we plan to put on our Christmas lights again this year! Smashing it’s been, and this year shall be no different! Come one come all, the fun is just start at Tabora Farms!
